About
Born in Zürich, I grew up between French and German cultures. This duality shaped both my love for languages and my awareness of their limits — the feeling that words often cannot fully express what lives within us.
I paint to understand, to process, and to give form to what lies beneath the surface — inner worlds, emotions, tensions, and the invisible spaces between life and death. I am deeply moved by the contradictions and complexity of the human condition, as well as drawn to the quiet undercurrents of human experience: vulnerability, darkness, the unspoken, and the beauty hidden within them; the contrast between utter fragility and the immense strength human beings are capable of.
This fascination led me to a career in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine, both spaces where life and death coexist closely, revealing a raw and profound depth of the human experience — an experience that strongly influences my artistic practice.
Painting is, for me, necessity, process, love, and journey all at once. Through my work, I want to invite the viewer to look inward — into their own inner landscapes and kingdoms — and to meet them with openness, dignity, and compassion, as they are absolutely unique and precious treasures.
